Privacy

Saltbarrow Studio does not intentionally collect personal information or use visitor activity for advertising or profiling. The hosting provider may process standard technical logs for security and reliable delivery of the website. This page describes both.

What the studio stores on your device

Two things, in your browser's local storage on this site only:

Sound preference

Whether sound is on or off.

Local game progress

Your best Lamplight score. You can clear it from the game page.

What the studio does not store

• No name, email, phone, or contact information.
• No precise location or device fingerprint.
• No tracking pixels, no advertising IDs, no third-party cookies, no analytics service.
• No payment information (there is no payment).

Server-side

The site is plain static files served by a hosting provider. No application server runs the game, no database stores scores, and no API receives your actions. Standard technical logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliable delivery, but the studio does not see them and does not request them.

Your controls

• Clear local storage for this domain in your browser settings. All studio data is removed.
• Use the Reset progress button on the Lamplight page to clear the best score.
• Disable JavaScript. The site still works (text content is reachable). The game will not load; the rest of the site will.

Children

The studio does not target children. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone. If you believe a child has used this site and you want their local data cleared, follow the steps above.

Contact

There is no contact form and no email address. If a future change requires contacting you, it will be announced on the devlog first.
